Values and Ethos
Our Vision
The Kidbrooke Park Learning Centre is committed to working in partnership with parents/carers, agencies, home schools and the wider community towards achieving:
- A shared learning community where pupils become equipped with the skills to learn and grow intellectually, emotionally and socially in a nurturing environment.
- A provision where all pupils are encouraged and motivated to achieve their greatest potential.
We believe that all pupils attending the Kidbrooke Park Learning Centre should:
- Feel safe in a caring environment, which, through a culture of support, challenges children to think about their actions and celebrates success.
- Have an equal opportunity to enjoy a high-quality education that meets their academic, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
- Be encouraged to develop the attributes needed to become co-operative, respectful, confident and independent lifelong learners.
- Have opportunities for fun and enjoyment.
Values and Ethos
Kidbrooke Park Primary School and KPLC school values are:
- Resilience
- Emotional Intelligence
- Collaboration
- Integrity
- Equality and Respect
At KPLC, children take part in weekly circle time sessions, assemblies and PSHCE; different themes are focused on throughout the year.
We try to offer children a variety of ways to help them develop good personal skills and to teach them about health and hygiene. Sometimes we have visitors who come in - the Police and Road Safety trainers, charities such as the NSPCC, motivational speakers plus many more.
